Comments
Comments: After work, I did an overdue hike up Grand Monadnock via my favorite trail there, the Dublin Trail. IMO, it is the easiest direct route to the top, as well as one of the most scenic (insane ledgy goodness once out of the trees; intermittent shrub and spruce trees make it even better). As for trail conditions, it was mostly dry, with scant mud and wet rock. Up higher, there were pockets of standing water. All of these issues were avoidable.

Due to my late start (2:30 PM), I could count the amount of people on the top with my fingers. 1 hour 10 minutes up, 55 minutes down. An afternoon well spent!
