There is a very muddy section with broken bog bridges between Pierce and the hut. |

Having camped near the top of the Eisenhower trail (below treeline and 200 ft. from trail as regulations require), I got an early start on these three peaks.
Given my general preference for redlinning, highest lists, and winter lists, the "grid" has always been on the back burner for me. However, I do keep track and today on Jackson was my 50% mark, grid peak 288. |
