| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
I parked at Greeley Ponds TH, a fee area. Osceola TH and East Pond on the Kanc are also fee areas. There are port-a-potties at the Osceola TH now! |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Got my feet wet both times on the first crossing on the Mt Tecumseh Trail, not surprising after yesterday's rain. Pine Brook on East Pond was a ford. Felt good at the end of this day! All others were easy/manageable rock hops |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails were great. Saw a trail crew on the Mt Osceola trail on the way down to Tripoli Rd doing trail reconstruction. I thanked each one of them for their hard work. The Mt Tecumseh trail from Tripoli Rd is wonderful, can't believe I waited this long to venture out onto it. The East Pond circuit could use a little trimming here and there but was easy to follow. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
My first ever negative experience with a dog on a trail. All I am going to say is if your dog is not on a leash it better be under control AND be responsive to your voice. If you know your dog is not responsive to voice control then keep it leashed. If your dog is out of control keep it leashed. If you can't keep your dog under control while it is leashed then maybe you should reconsider your choice of pet and consider adopting a gold fish.

| Comments: |
A beautiful day for a nice long loop exploring some new trails :). The only thing I would have done differently was where I parked my car. Should have parked at East Pond and walked up the Kanc in the morning when there is less traffic. This loop with road walks (and some back tracking for red line purposes) is about 25 miles. |
