Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Cold River is an easy walk across, all others are small walk overs.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The start of Laughing lion is dark, narrow, not much more than a deer trail, with missing or faded blazes. Royce Trail connector and Royce Trail are wet, slippery, eroded trails. My feet kept getting stuck in the exposed roots and coming down was a slow process. Signage was well placed and helpful.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: My 10 lb chihuahua had no problems on this trail.
Bugs
Bugs: No bugs today
Lost and Found
