Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All crossings that weren't bridged, were rock hoppable with ease.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Percy Loop was all clear, as was Percy Peaks Trail with the exception of one step-over. Old Summer Club was decent overall, with some muddy spots especially in its upper section. Old Summer Club is not signed at the Christine Lake end, but follow the directions in the WMG, as the trail is obvious. Rowell Link was "wildernessy" in spots, with a few blowdowns to deal with. Bald Mountain Notch was a super-highway, though a bit muddy at times.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Saw many, many dogs on North Percy, and again as they descended Percy Peaks Trail.
Bugs
Bugs: Some mosquitoes out in the morning, many bothersome mosquitoes and black flies out in the afternoon/evening.

Comments
Comments: An interesting way to do ALL the trails in the Nash Stream Forest. Went up Percy Loop (it appeared all hiker traffic was using the Percy Peaks Trail on this day) and hit North Percy. Descending, we went all the way back to the road on Percy Peaks Trail, and ascended back to the col (getting a few strange looks along the way). Down Old Summer Club Trail, we took the side trails for South Percy and Victor Head, running into our friend Jim as well. Took Rowell Link and Bald Mountain Notch trails out to my car, then drove over to Christine Lake, and did Old Summer Club Connector (which we didn't have to do...) and the rest of Old Summer Club Trail. A rugged day to be sure, and outside of the Percy Loop, we saw only Jim. As far as red-lining is concerned, Mike broke 70% and I broke 90%!
