Comments
Comments: Trail is ultra steep with very little let up. The weather was hot and sunny. It was too hot and sunny to spend much time hanging out on the ledges one encounters as one nears the summit area. Views are fine, but subdued out due to sultry humid atmospheric conditions. This peak is still on my to-do list to come back in clearer conditions.

I think next time I'll go via Black Mountain Trail. I checked out TH for the other trail. The last 1/4 mile is not recommended for low clearance vehicles and not much places to park roads without creating nuisance. This would be nice mountain to do in winter conditions, but parking would be a problem approaching from north.
