Had to submerged-rock-hop the Mohawk river-not bad, but did get wet. I found a log to cross on on the way down. |

I headed right up from 26 through mainly open woods. Lots of old road, some of which aided progress. The summit is a really interesting glade with views of the Balsams, the windmills of dixville, and surrounding peaks. The high-point is marked by a yellow X. |
