Parking/Access Road Notes: a ton of cars on return to Zealand lot.

Water Crossing Notes: easy, low water flow. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Thoreau falls has some mud pits and a few blowdowns, but not bad overall. much better than shoal pond tr. also, there's a big washout about 2/3 of the way down the trail.

Dog-Related Notes: saw a few, one of which liked to growl.

Comments: the twin tops (south of shoal pond pk.)

nice day, except for an early afternoon shower. went into the woods about 1/2 way down Thoreau falls tr. mostly nice woods except for the hobble patches. going up the north peak a moose was going down. it had no trouble with the hobble. neat little peaks with a touch of steepness. the south peak jar was on the ground, so I tied it back up. zporter was the last one there in nov.
