 | Comments: |
I went from relative solitude on Livermore, to the popular Morgan and Percival. Started up Mt. Morgan Trail ahead of a couple of groups, then cut over on Morse, heading down to the lot for Mt. Percival Trail before starting up. Ran into several groups descending, and a pair of dudes not far from the caves/cliffs split enjoying beers on the side of the trail... they had the right idea! Ascended through the caves, which are always a blast, and ran into two groups descending through them. Had the summit of Percival to myself for my whole 20 minute stay. Crossed over to Morgan, where a couple groups were hanging out, then headed down. Ran into the beer dudes again at the Mt. Morgan/Crawford Ridgepole junction, then only saw one other couple on their way up. Much quieter when I got back to the lot. |
