Comments: This adventure took us to the Nash Stream State forest to hike the Percy Peaks, both North Peak (which is on 52 with a View) and the South Peak. We also visited the Percy Loop Camp. We took the Percy Loop Trail which is also part of the COHOS Trail. We did the loop clockwise and it does involve a road walk. IMHO I think doing the trail this way was the way to go. The only thing is at the end the road walk does ascend, but the COHOS Trail part of the Percy Loop Trail seemed easier. Could be that we were tired at the end and trying to beat a thunderstorm. LOL
The moss and root were very slippery from the strong storms the day before. We did bypass North Percy to go to South Percy first, then backtracked to North.
