| Comments: |
Trails were dry and in good shape.
Mt. Rowe Trail (blue blazes; upper portion was opened last year) provides a gradual ascent through many switchbacks and good footing for trail running. This route provides a much different Mt. Rowe experience as compared to walking the tower access road from the ski area.
No blueberries to be found at this point. Lots of wildlife out this evening (rabbit, large bird or owl, deer). |
