 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Some of the markings after a mile or so were not visible but the trail is easy to follow. A couple of blowdowns. The erosion at Mt. Morgan is significant and if I didn't have the dog I would have used the ladders to not contribute to the root destruction. |

 | Dog-Related Notes: |
There were not any streams for most of the hike but we carried enough water. No problems except one blowdown that has some pointy branches below that luckily caught his pack and not his skin. |

 | Bugs: |
Hardly any. |

 | Comments: |
This was pretty much a long ridge walk without a lot of climbing. The road was steeper than most of the trail. The mileage on the signs was quite a bit higher than the GPS device I was using. Good way to strengthen legs without a lot of scrambles. The view spots were very nice. There is a view spot right on the trail about two miles from parking which could make a fine destination. As much as I appreciate work, my daughter spent several summers doing it, it would be nice to limit the use of plastic signage in the woods. |
