Comments
Comments: The trails were dry with even most muddy spots dried. The ledges were dry with good footing today. Shorter kids may need assistance in a few spots on the ledges of South Baldface. I was surprised to find blueberries to eat on South Baldface this late in the season. I decided to use Meader Ridge and Mt Meader trails as an alternative descent route rather than going down Baldface Circle or Bicknell Ridge. Brickett Falls had a meager volume of water but it was still a nice place to stop and enjoy a snack.
On the descent of the Mt Meader Trail take care to spot the blazes to avoid wandering off trail.
