Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: None of significance, levels very very low
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Overall trails in decent shape and well blazed. One large blowdown on Percy Loop trail just above the tentsite, well formed herd path around it - a few smaller ones heading down Percy Peaks trail but not too bad. South Percy "herd path" was signed and recently brushed, still rugged but easier than expected.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Hannah had a good day, no issues with the ledges on North Percy. She carried extra water and it was definitely needed, only a few streams down low at either end but a warm day

Comments: Percy Loop Trail, Percy Peaks Trail, South Percy herd path

Great day for these peaks - didn't see too many people for a holiday weekend and our group of four had North Percy to ourselves for a good half hour. Wouldn't want to hike up North if the ledges were even a bit wet - the slabs have some good contour and are not totally flat, but are decently steep and a slip could end in a long fall. Still lots of blueberries on North and fabulous 360 views, South had better views than expected as well. Great day in the north country!
