To avoid the long drive along North Road, I parked on Route 16 and walked across the bridge. It probably added about 1/2 mile to the hike on each end but was worth not having to drive down the long dirt road. |

What's with the deer flies this year!! They were awful again. Fortunately the breeze at the top kept them at bay so that I could enjoy the view. |
