|Hiking Trail Conditions Report|
||Mt. Cardigan, NH|
||Holt Trail, Holt-Clark Cutoff (Cathedral Forest Trail), Clark Trail|
|Date of Hike:
||Saturday, September 19, 2015|
|Parking/Access Road Notes:
||Plenty of parking at the AMC Cardigan Lodge |
||Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock |
|Water Crossing Notes:
||Not an issue. |
|Trail Maintenance Notes:
||Nothing much to note: one or two waterbars might benefit from a bit of a clean, but otherwise, everything else looks to be in good shape. |
||None at all. |
|Lost and Found:
||Trails are, for the most part, pretty dry. Usual wet spots and ledge seeps are damp, but drier than usual.|
All of the trails on the east side of Mt. Cardigan, near the AMC lodge, have new, standardized signage, installed within the last month or two.
There appears to be some new rock work here and there on the Holt-Clark Cutoff and the Clark Trail.
