Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: There was enough room in the parking lot.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All doable. The biggest one was near the old fire warden's garage on Ranger Trail; the water level was low enough for pretty easy rock hopping.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Lambert Ridge Trail (AT) was in good shape, with some wet areas between the ledges and the summit. The rocks were mostly dry soon after a rain thanks to sunshine and breeze. The upper half of Ranger Trail was wet. Care and patience were required to get across the wet rock slabs but it was less difficult than I had expected.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I hope you are good at negotiating rock slabs on ascent and descent.
Bugs
Bugs: Bye bye.

Comments
Comments: At times on Ranger Trail it was hard to decide which streambed was the actual trail but it didn't matter because they kept joining back together.

There were no signs on the tower and the stairs are fine for climbing up to just below the cab, which was closed. Views were great from up there; the wind was chilly.
