A great day for this Franconia Ridge hike. Temps from 20 to 50 with clear blue sky and a breeze at times on the ridge. Fog on Lafayette and Lincoln when I got to the hut but the fog cleared just before I reached the peaks. The fog left some rime which melted fast with the sun. Saw about 20 hikers enjoying the day. Views in all directions were great and the foliage is at peak. |
