No major issues. There are a few step over blowdowns along the way which do not impede forward progress. |

About 98% of the leaves are down on these trails which are hiding roots and rocks underneath so some attention is needed.
The bare trees and grey skies made for 'monochrome' views at the various viewpoints along the way - some of which you have to work for. Outside of one fellow who passed me at the Wilderness boundary in the morning and three folks ascending the Cutoff as I was descending I didn't see anyone for the entire hike. Outlooks, cliffs, ledges, artifacts...quite a fun area to explore! |
