Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The Pine Bend brook trail contains a few insignificant crossings of minor tributaries. All can be rock hopped. Descending Sabbaday Brook trail was a light grade but contained several challenging crossings which required careful navigation. The first two crossings after Sabbaday Falls are wide, deep and impossible to stay dry during high water.

Comments
Comments: Trails are snow-free all the way through. No shoes or traction required. Whack to Scaur was straight forward with no navigational issues. Startled a couple moose on the ridge along the PBB trail just before the Scaur Ridge Junction. Steep, steep and more steep to North and Middle Tripyramid. Started bushwhack to the Fool Killer at 3100 Ft, crossed the tributary and had open woods, very steep open woods, all the way to the summit.

I wouldn't recommend descending Sabbaday Brook. There is running water on the trail and you will get wet at a couple of the crossings.
