Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The only major crossing (Sucker Brook) was a bit tricky. High water and slick/icy rocks made for careful walking!
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Several blowdowns on the lower part of Carr Mountain Trail. I pulled two of the smaller ones off to the side; the rest of them were too big.

Comments
Comments: Going off reports and videos I've read/seen in the past, I thought this would be a bland hike. Down low, yea perhaps, but the upper part of the hike was rather pleasant. The summit was pretty cool, too- open and rocky, with the steps and big pillars of the now-gone fire tower still there. Good views were had, but I can see why Carr Mtn got booted off the 52 with a View- you had to move around to get the best views due to tree growth. Not a spectacular hike, but a nice, moderate climb to a pleasant summit. Once back at the TH, I walked back to the Mt. Kineo Trail junction and back to the TH to make it an even 7 miles.

I have posted a video recap for those interested in this one. Just follow ze link at ze bottom:
