Comments
Comments: An easy out and back. First mile had small patches of snow but mainly lots of wet leaves, transitioned to snow and slush. Some icy patches along the way though toughest patch was glaze ice while crossing the auto road. Slush was hardening to ice on the way back. Traction not needed though used it heading up Madison Gulf trail from Auto road and then up to viewpoint, though colder temps may make them useful as the trail ices up so I'd carry them just in case. Great views of Adams and Madison - always one of my favorite easy hikes.
