Comments
Comments: Nice mild mostly calm day on the Ridge. Peaks were in and out of the clouds. Unfortunately socked in while I was up there. Had an encounter with a very friendly brown mouse near the hut. It followed the hiker in front of me down the trail and when I called it came back and approached me. I offered a piece of walnut and s/he took it from me. Can't help thinking it must have been a hut pet. I bare booted up OBP and used micros down FW. The FW trail has a much more consistent Snow/ice base along the entire trail which makes it easier to use traction. Great day out despite the lack of views
