| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trails are in good shape. Someone has added stones up on the ridge to keep people within the trail, but in my case, going clockwise, I actually found myself on the wrong side of the "fence" a couple of times. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
The mighty tough little dog had a ball. It was so nice out the hike was fast and easy. Clouds shaded him on the ridge. He had the brook to sip and dip in on the way down. He got to meet more dogs than he could count on three paws. He also got lots of attention from many of the women on Falling Waters. Natural Surrounds was happy to meet him, and vice versa. He finished his Summer 4K list. Very little water on OBP and the ridge, so BYOB. |

| Bugs: |
One black fly which somehow managed to go spelunking in my nasal passages. |

Great conditions for a hike. Crisp cool air, shade, sun on the trail after Lincoln, gentle breeze and great views. Most of the time we had the trails to ourselves on the way up to Lafayette, we met a few going over to Lincoln and then we ran into crowds and they just kept coming the whole hike down. There were so many pretty women of all ages on Falling Waters, from the hiking athletic up high to the Vogue fashionable down low. Amazing. Pepper put a smile on most of their faces. I wish he'd teach me how to do that. |
