Gate is now closed. Parked in front of the gate with about 10 other cars along the sides of the entrance road. |

Trail holds some water but no significant crossings |

All trails are in great shape. Blazes coming down Barlow near the top could be repainted. |

Saw quite a few puppies enjoying the day out |

Some ice along the trail but was barebootable with care. Saw several others on the trails and no one was wearing traction of any kind.
Road walk from the closed gate adds about 3/4 of a mile each way. |
