Parking/Access Road Notes: The road to the main parking lot is closed but there is a small parking lot opposite the gate. It only adds about a mile and a half round trip.

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Minimal; very narrow, you can easily step across. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No problems. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Might be tough at the summit, which consists of huge slanted granite slabs that are completely encased in ice. It's not a problem for us two-legged beings with microspikes but I wouldn't take my dog.
