Plenty of parking at 19-mile TH. Walked up the road to the Dodge cut-off and over to South Imp Trail. The Dodge cut-off easily found by following the tracks from the gate, all they straight back through the camps. Well packed out. Steady climb to the ridge and over to Zeta Pass and Carter Dome. Barebooted until we started our decent on Carter Dome Trail, some significant ice that was best navigated with light traction. No wind to speak of the entire day, great views when we had them. Thanks Dan, another one off the winter list. |
