Shoulda, shoulda brought the crampons! Almost the whole trail was a skating rink from the rainstorm a couple days ago, and a thin layer of snow on top made it even more treacherous. Right now, I recommend crampons and nothing less. Fortunately, the view from the top was good as always, and the massive cairn provided some shelter from the wind and cold. |
