| Water Crossing Notes: |
Streams near Diana's baths are still open. Lucy Brook is a tricky crossing at the junction of the Moat Mtn. Trail and the Red Ridge trail. We went upstream 0.15 mi where there were better crossings and bushwhacked back to the Red Ridge trail. |

| Comments: |
Trail is well packed snow and ice south of South Moat Mtn. Further North and from Diana's Baths it's loose granular and ice. Some wet slush and even mud at the bottom of Red Ridge. The top of the Red Ridge trail is not well packed out, circuitous, and feels like a bushwhack. Just keep heading up to the saddle. We wore microspikes car to car but crampons would be ideal for the large ice slabs on the S face of S Moat Mtn. and N face of the Red Ridge. Never really steep enough for an ice axe but the ice slab on Red Ridge is definitely a no-fall zone with exposure. |
