| Comments: |
Conditions more like spring than February; a mix of wet, packed sugar-snow and very slippery ice. Microspikes were adequate. My four-legged companion became very adept at finding his own route around the steep icy sections. A brief clearing between two weather systems gave us good views of Pinkham Notch from the ledges, but then the clouds and fog rolled in, and we saw nothing from the summit. |
