Surface Conditions: Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant, Snow - Spring Snow, Slush, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Trail Maintenance Notes: One large leaner on the Straightback Mountain Trail at the junction with Jesus Valley Trail

Dog-Related Notes: No issues for dogs on this route. Did see a lot of Coyote Scat.

Lost and Found
Lost and Found: A pair of EMS Fleece Gloves found on Jesus Valley Trail just above the turn towards the beaver pond and the link to Old Stage Road. Left them on a large downed birch tree. 
 
Comments
Comments: A very warm day for February. Trails were wet from melt/run off. Lots of mud. A short section of snow/ice on SMT where microspikes helped. Nice views from the near summit ledges on the SMT. Where is winter???
