It turned out to be a pretty nice day. The clouds were held in check but Washington was socked in. I went up Jackson first. It was pretty easy going with just microspikes until just below the summit. Crampons would not be overkill. I met another hiker, Jerry, and we made our way over to Webster. This trail had a lot of high drifts. Snowshoes aren't necessary. The trail down to the junction hadn't been used in a little while. All in all it was a great day |
