Comments
Comments: Up and down with microspikes the whole way, but crampons would have been better. Needed to slide down several steeper rocks and microspikes could not get enough purchase to safely walk at times. Ice is very hard and not great for footing. I saw several others out with microspikes but witnessed a few bad falls and took one or two myself.
