| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The Carter-Moriah Tr. Had quite a few nasty muddy spots after recent rains. The Stoney Brook trail was in great shape all the way. No significent blowdowns on C-M one really big one on SB that had recently been attacked by and axe or two that made it passable. |

| Comments: |
We had an exceptional day today. The Carter Moriah ledges were wet and slippery. Summit was sunny and calm with great 360 views. The walk out on Stoney Brook Tr. offered more beautiful views, dry ledges on the upper part, just a little water on the middle section. Two in our group had a swim in the deep pool located about a mile from trails end. The footing on the lower section was soft and dry.. perfect for a little trail run! Brook at the end of the trail nice and cool on our feet! |
