Comments
Comments: A mix of everything. Trails looked like conditions you'd expect in May. Long ice flows on Stony Brook with sections of running water. Ice was thin is places & didn't support our weight causing almost every step to break thru submerging our feet above our toes. Water proof boots a must today. A boiler plate fiesta on the ledges much of which can be avoided with some whacking. Much caution still necessary on ledges. Steep section at junction of Kenduskeag all boiler plate so we whacked on the left side of it. Sharp pair of Hillsounds car to car.

Saw fresh solo tracks coming up Carter-Moriah from Bangor Road but saw no one all day.

Wonderful day out with my main squeeze.
