Comments
Comments: Mixed bag o' conditions today. Somewhat icy on the first 0.7 mi of the Mt. Major Trail, then the Brook Trail was not as icy and more packed down. No. Straightback Link hadn't been touched in a long time- nevertheless, snowshoes would be overkill. Some bare ground on the west side of (North) Straightback Mountain, as well as the steep drop on Boulder Loop Trail.

Great views and ledgy goodness, which the Belknaps are famous for. 5 mi round trip, 1,500 ft. of gain, and I only saw 6 people the whole time, all on Major. Great day out!
