Comments
Comments: First half of the trail is well packed crusty snow. Very easy going and no traction probably needed though some snowshoe tracks had iced over and could be slippery. However halfway up the ice sheets began and soon the trail itself was one big ice slick. Very slow going from here on out and we had to detour around them many times, as they were treacherous even with the microspikes. As you approach the summit the ice eases off and the going gets easier but this was definitely a tough hike for us. Great views at the top though!
