Loose power with underlying ice on ladder section made of tough ascent. My Hillsounds were adequate but crampons would have been far more secure. Snow started transition to spring snow after stream crossing a base of Liberty, it turned slushy from Flume junction down to bike path. There was enough snow on the ridge line that snowshoes would have been useful |
