Comments
Comments: With most rocks and holes covered up, trails remain much faster than during non-winter season; wore Microspikes to exit vehicle and left on the entire route. Talked for a long time with Snowflea and Fancypants on their way down. Did not realize that I needed a second trip to Moriah until about a month ago when I learned that my first winter hike of Moriah occurred in January, and not February, in 1971, hence I was demoted for my first grid round. Beautiful bluebird sky day, with temps in 20s and a light breeze on the ridge. With near full moon, would have been perfect conditions for a winter night traverse of the Presi's; sigh.
