Comments
Comments: Lonesome Lake Tr, Fishin Jimmy Tr, and Kinsman Ridge Tr well packed out. Fishin Jimmy Tr had several icy inclines that were tricky to navigate with just simple microspikes. Few icy spots around N Kinsman but overall, not bad. S. Kinsman is well packed out. Kinsman Ridge Tr over the Cannonballs had little activity. Broken out to the extant of about 3 people (myself included) not using snowshoes. Mostly ankle deep snow (before drifts) and icy areas hidden under the snow pack. Lonesome Lake Tr from Kinsman Ridge Tr to Lonesome Lake was very packed out and getting slushy. So I would expect that to be more ice than snow after a cold night.
