The road to the actual parking lot would require 4wd. We parked at the house at the end of the road. Asked permission and he was happy to let us. Could probably get 4 or 5 in here. |

I believe this is a snow mo trail in normal winters but this sure isn't normal. I did the whole hike in yak tracks and my wife used Hillsounds. The couple we saw going up as we were leaving were in Hillsounds and Micro's. You could probably bare boot but the traction made it easier. Light dusting of snow down low and more as we went up. There was water in trail and then large ice spots from the water as we gained elevation. You could go along edge but with spikes you could go right up. Great day out with Karen. |
