Comments
Comments: A long overdue return to Kearsarge North, with a nice side trip to Bartlett Mountain. Kearsarge North Trail has been well traveled, with many icy sections. Light traction good for the most part, excepting the ice flow near the top, but folks seemed to be negotiating it with just spikes. I switched to crampons for the descent. The start of Bartlett Path was flagged, and the trail itself was easy to follow (made easier with a filled in snowshoe track), with some old blazes, an arrow, and white (then yellow) diamonds. Great views from the peaks before the clouds rolled in. Had a nice chat with Suzanne (sp?) and her partner (who's name escapes me) of Slow and Steady, while on the summit. Good to meet you!
