Comments
Comments: Gorgeous day with blue skies and unlimited visibility. 19 MBT was packed down and icy at spots. CMT had fresh powder which made the steep section up from the hut very tricky. Would recommend crampoms, but we didn't have them with us so we managed in microspikes and pulling on trees. Switched to snowshoes at top of Carter dome through ~1/3 of the way down on CDT. Super fun snow shoeing/sliding down the virgin powder down from Mt. Hight!
