Comments
Comments: Pack Monadnock, at least via the Marion Davis Trail, is 99% snow-free, with a couple small ice flows near the top. Leave the spikes at home. If you plan to cross the street and hike to Temple Mountain... definitely bring 'em! Parts of the Wapack Trail were a glacier! I barebooted with EXTREME care and almost wiped out a few times. The Beebe Trail wasn't nearly as bad, but I'd still recommend bringing spikes for the upper part. Hazy but good views from both peaks, which I had never done in the same hike. Came out to about 4.3 miles roundtrip with 1,550 ft. of elevation gain. Not bad for an after work hike, I'd say!
