Comments
Comments: Road walk is bare now. After a half mile or so, the trail is covered with increasing depths of hard ice, beautiful but treacherous. In many places, the ice extends far into the woods on either side of the trail. Even with traction, tree-pulling is the only ticket up. As the trees thin up high, there is mostly bare rock with some impressive ice still in the low spots.
