Comments
Comments: Parking was good in the early morning, Road side parking when we left.
Access road was bare bootable with patches of snow and negotiable ice. soft mud on the way out.
Mixed rock and ice on first mile of gorge brook trail After last bridge crossing trail is mostly spring snow with occasional ice and rock.
Mostly snow as elevation is gained. Exposed ridge and summit are bare with occasional ice flows.
Great day to be on the trail with Gary T.
Summit was breezy but pleasant with the sun and warm temps.
Saw lots of hikers as we descended in spring attire, even a group of young folks with shorts and sneakers enjoying the day.
