The Skookumchuck trail is snow-free at the base until about 2 miles up when you start to find a little snow/ ice. There's a stretch that's very icy and will require light traction. Once at the ridge, we took the Garfield Ridge Trail to Mt. Garfield. There's enough snow up there that you may want to consider bringing snow shoes as we were breaking through and post holing occasionally.
As clear as can be and mid 30's at the top. Doesn't get much better than that |
