Comments
Comments: Trail was spring like for about 2 miles, bareboot. Last mile was significant ice, boilerplate ice, blue ice bulges, with bare rock on summit. Firetower was a beautiful treat for me and kept us out on winds at 25 mph--Sunny day with light falling snow, first time up this well known mountain and I loved it. Traction was necessary for last mile up and down ,then just rock dirt and mud on lower level. Great hike out with Marc, and nice running into Dr Steve on the trail :)
