Comments
Comments: Trails mostly dry down low with some icy crust here and there. Bushwacked from Guinea Pond trail to the power lines to avoid a few crossings and caught the Mead trail. Icy stretches started about a half mile from the summit. I put the spikes on just before the summit and kept them on for a bit on the descent. Could be barebooted with care but it will all be gone soon. Next to no snow on the entire route just some ice patches that were more consistent closer to the summit. Nice quiet trails today, only saw one other with a dog who arrived on the summit shortly after me. At the beaver pond veer right for the bypass. Saw a moose here in the morning and on the return I saw 2 coyote in the same spot.
