Comments
Comments: I am a season pass holder at Bretton Woods. Before the lifts opened I walked up the roadway to private homes on south side of resort and used a skier r.o.w. for access for home owners to reach ski trail near the top to the bunny slope so it was a quick skin to the closed 2 Miles Home ski trail. 2 Miles Home is closed for a reason--first quarter lots of great snow, next quarter no snow at all until reaching bottom of the t-bar, third quarter snow patches, last quarter great snow! Good ski skin, hike, ski skin. Fun to ski across Outerbounds to reach Joseph's Run over at Oscar a.k.a. West Mountain. Instead of putting my skins back on I just hiked up the trail. No view from the ledges due to being in the clouds still that early in the morning. Great ski down the closed Star King Trail!! Lots of good snow!
